TENTHOREY, LANCIA EARN OCAA ALL-STAR AND ALL-ROOKIE HONOURS

First year left side Carys Tenthorey, and first year middle blocker Riley Lancia both were named OCAA East Division Second Team All-Stars and were also named to the OCAA East Division All-Rookie Team.

Carys had a remarkable rookie season for the Wolves as she finished the season with 145 kills. 56 aces, 167 digs, 11 blocks and 212 points. Carys quickly made a name for herself in the OCAA as a lethal server, as she finished second in the OCAA in total aces, and set an OCAA single-game aces record with 17 on November 1st against the Georgian Grizzlies. Riley was a force at the net for the Wolves early in the season, before being briefly sidelined with an injury. In the 13 matches she played Riley collected 78 kills, 19 aces, and 16 blocks for 113 total points. Her presence was instantly felt when she returned to action against the Durham Lords where she recorded 8 kills, 5 aces and 1 block.

The future looks very bright for the women's volleyball program as the team was able to finish with a 12-6 record despite featuring a lineup of mostly 1st and 2nd year players. Congratulations to Carys and Riley on their amazing achievements this season!
