McDonald earns her 4th straight OCAA East 1st team All-Star selection to go along with her 3rd straight East Defensive Player of the Year, East Player of the Year and CCAA All-Canadian award. The Nepean Ontario native has made history as the only Algonquin athlete to be named a CCAA All-Canadian 3 times! McDonald finished 1st in the OCAA in steals, assists, assist to turnover ratio and 3 point %. (4.6 stl, 5 ast, 4.7 ast / to, 40% 3p%) She also finished 4th in the league in scoring, 2nd in points per 40 minutes and 2nd in field goal percentage. (16.4 pts, 24.4 pts per 40, 55.1 fg%) She has been the driving force behind the Wolves bronze and silver medal runs the past two seasons and will be leaned on heavily during this playoff run.
To round things out, the Wolves were named OCAA East champions for the 3rd straight year and East Best Defensive Team for the 2nd straight season. The Wolves went 14-0 relying heavily on the top ranked defense in the OCAA, giving up just 38.6 points per game.
