The Wolves men's and women's basketball teams are back in action this Friday, January 24th, as they head to Toronto to take on the Seneca Sting.
The women's team is coming off of a 72-42 victory over Durham to remain undefeated on the season. In their last meeting, the Wolves cruised to the 67-39 win thanks to a 19 point, 10 steal, and 5 assist night from Dasia McDonald. The Wolves are currently the #1 ranked team in the OCAA and the #2 ranked team in the CCAA.
It is a crucial game for the men's team as the Wolves and Sting have identicle 9-4 records, and sit 4th and 3rd respectively in the OCAA East division. Seneca holds the tie-breaker after beating the Wolves 79-68 in their first meeting. The Sting are also currently one of the hottest teams in league, having won 7 conssecutive games. The Wolves are coming off a 96-74 win over Fleming last weekend.
