Just like that, the final home basketball double header of the regular season is upon us.  The Wolves will take on the Georgian Grizzlies on Friday before finishing their schedule on the road the following weekend.  

On the women's side, the Wolves hope to improve to 13-0.  This won't be an easy task as they take on a Georgian squad who sit just 1 spot below them in the OCAA standings.  The Grizzlies are 10-1 on the year with their 1 loss coming at the hands of Algonquin back in late November.  

As for the men, this is a big matchup as the Wolves are currently on the outside looking in on the playoff picture.  A win over the Grizzlies would go a long way in getting them back in the hunt.  Georgian is in the 4th spot of the OCAA standings with a 9-5 record.  The two teams met in Barrie in the first semester when the Grizzles took down the Wolves 83-74. 

Friday will be a special occasion for 3 of our men's players who will be playing their final home game in an Algonquin uniform.  Make sure to arrive early to catch a brief pre-game ceremony.

Friday February 2nd 

6:00 pm Women's Basketball vs Georgian Grizzlies 
8:00 pm Men's Basketball vs Georgian Grizzlies 

Location 

All games will take place at the Jack Doyle Atlhetics and Recreation Centre (ARC) located at X building of the Woodroffe Campus.  Fans who are attending the game must enter through the south entrance. 

Admission 

Admission is $5 for the general public, free for children under 12 and free for Algonquin students who show proof of a valid student I.D.  Admission can be paid on site at the box office just inside the south entrance.    

Wolves Den

The Wolves Den restaurant will be open.  Grab a bite to eat and take in the game.
