First-year middle blocker Mateo Nunez Kruss capped off his impressive rookie campaign with the Wolves by earning OCAA East Division Second Team All-Star honours, as well as being named to the OCAA East Divsion All-Rookie Team.
Mateo made an immediate impact for the Wolves, finishing second on the team in both kills (124) and total points (174). He also made a name for himself as a dominant presence at the net, finishing fourth in the entire OCAA in blocks with 43, and fifth in blocks per set with 0.67. Mateo's standout performance, combined with a strong core of returning players, The Wolves are well positioned to build on their 8-10 record next season.
