The Algonquin Students' Association is saddened by the loss of one of our own. Josepha Kasongo Ilunga, a member of our men's soccer program since the 2023 season.
Josepha's will be remembered for his contagious energy and a smile that would light up a room. He had a positive impact on his teammates, coaches and athletics staff that had the chance to get to know him. Josepha, we are proud to have had and to always have you as a part of our pack.
In loving memory of Josepha, the Ilunga family invites all friends and family to join them to honour and celebrate his life. The Visitation and Exposition will take place on Friday, December 27th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm and the Funaral Service will take place on Saturday, December 28th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Both events will take place at 3000 Woodroffe Avenue, Ottawa, K2J 4G3. Following the funeral service on Saturday the group will proceed to 3700 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa, K2C 3R6 for the burial.
