Join us on Saturday September 20th when the Wolves take on the Lakehead Orillia Thunderwolves. Lakehead Orillia officially joined the OCAA soccer league in 2025. Their women's team has found some early season success with a 1-1-1 record. On the men's side, the Thunderwolves are 0-3 after taking on 3 tough opponents in Cambrian, Centennial and Seneca early on. The Thunderwolves will make a stop in Kingston on Friday night to take on the St. Lawrence Surge before heading to Ottawa on Saturday for a meeting with the Algonquin Wolves.
On the Algonquin side, both teams are off to a perfect start with the women's team supporting a 3-0 record and the men's team at 4-0. Both teams made an appearance in the CCAA National rankings this week. The women's team made their 1st appearance of the season earning the 15th and final spot. Our men's team moved up to the 2nd spot after being ranked 3rd in week 1.
Make sure to come out to the Algonquin Sports Field to cheer on your Wolves and catch some exciting action!

Algonquin Wolves Varsity games are FREE for all current Algonquin Students' Association staff, Algonquin College employees, students, alumni, and kids under 12! Parking
Paid parking is in effect at all times. Parking lot 12 is closest to our Sports Field. Parking is a $6.00 flat rate on weekends and after 5:00 pm on weekdays in Lots 8, 9, 10 and 12. See Algonquin College Parking Services for the parking map. Use promo code WOLVES50 for a 50% discount!
