The Wolves are back at home this Friday September 19th for a date with the Cambrian Shield!  Our women's team currently owns a 3-0 record, tied for the top spot in the OCAA East.  They will take on a Cambrian team who will be looking for their first win of the season.  Despite their early season struggles, Cambrian and Algonquin have played many close games in recent years and we expect Friday to be a dog fight.  

After a 5-1 road win over George Brown last Sunday, our men's team currently holds the top spot in the East with a 4-0 record. The Shield go into the game at 1-1-1, a solid record after having played 2 of the top 3 teams in the East in the early season.   We are expecting a competitive game that you won't want to miss!  

FEED THE PACK 

Friday's games will be the 1st Feed the Pack double header of the season. Help the Students' Association Food Cupboard strike out hunger and support students facing food insecurity!

Cheer on your Algonquin Wolves at the Varsity Men's and Women's Soccer home games on Friday, September 19 vs. Cambrian Golden Shield. The women's game is set to start at 6:00 pm with the men's game to follow at 8:15 pm.

All ticket proceeds from the September 19 home games will go toward supporting the Food Cupboard and striking out hunger. Guests, students and community members can also donate food items at the door!

Non-perishable donations can include: 

• Ready-made meals (eg, microwave pouches, chilli, soups, etc.) 

• Cooking oils 

• Household & personal hygiene items (cleaning supplies, toothbrushes, soaps, deodorants, menstrual products, etc.) 

• Gently used books (no textbooks) 

 All attendees can also enter a ballot for a chance to participate in our half-time show and win some awesome prizes. Doors open one hour before each game. Please arrive early to drop off your donations. Non-perishable and monetary donations are always accepted by the Food Cupboard.

Admission
Algonquin Wolves Varsity games are FREE for all current Algonquin Students' Association staff, Algonquin College employees, students, alumni, and kids under 12! Please note: registration is still required for all Varsity games. Use the link above to secure your spot and support your team! Guest and community admission is $5.00 for our soccer games and can be purchased online and at the game.

Parking
Paid parking is in effect at all times. Parking lot 12 is closest to our Sports Field. Parking is a $6.00 flat rate on weekends and after 5:00 pm on weekdays in Lots 8, 9, 10 and 12. See Algonquin College Parking Services for the parking map. Use promo code WOLVES50 for a 50% discount!

The Wolves Den restaurant (X130) in the Jack Doyle Athletics and Recreation Centre offers a Regular Weekend Menu. Grab a bite to eat and take in the game!
